We are currently looking for a Chief Accountant, based in Bucharest.
This role requires an analytical and details oriented, good team leader professional with a do-er mindset, positive attitude, initiative and very good tax, fiscal, audit knowledges. Must requirements: SAP, IFRS, CECCAR.

Key player in business services (SSC) market in Bucharest, aiming to provide world class services in all areas of accounting, namely, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to almost all countries in Europe. Due to confidentiality reasons, further informations will be discussed during the interview.
- CHIEF ACCOUNTANT JOB PROFILE
Proficiency in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module and 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting (RAS and IFRS) and Romanian taxation background. Must requirements: SAP, IFRS, CECCAR.
So what will you do?
Main responsibilities include:
- Closing accounting activities for RAS and IFRS
- Analyzing complex financial reports and records
- Compute taxes (except payroll taxes), prepare and submit all Tax Returns to the Romanian Fiscal Authorities
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
- Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information, prepare and submit Romanian Financial Statements to the Romanian Fiscal Authorities
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions
- Performing, generating and signing financial reports; he/she is in charge with all relationship with specific authorities: Fiscal Authority, NBR, Audit companies
